Dear EA,
I disagree with you changing the online ranking system. I buy Madden mostly to play online and with friends. I want to be able to invite my friends or a random person in a lobby to a ranked game at my choosing as I have done since Madden has been online. Also, please allow me to finish a game against an opponent if he quits in the first half in order to earn the win. I am not interested in playing a bunch of half games against cheesers who are unable to cheese properly so they quit and the game doesnt count.

I was disturbed when i logged on to play and couldnt play a ranked game against people in my friends list. then i was pissed when i was beating some dude and he quits on me and that was it. i didnt get to finish the game and get my win. i was hoping that this year the quitting deal would be improved upon so that i woudnt have to finish three quarters of a game against the computer b/c some moron quit on me. playing madden is a time commitment and if i take the time to turn on my ps3 and wait for madden to load up and look for a game, wait for a game, start a game and then get quit on thats annoying as hell and really just rude. i think some people dont realize if you wait till halftime and are down by 21 you can concede but some people are just *. there should be a warning when you select to quit that tells you can quit at halftime. if you still quit then that should be it. the person who didnt quit gets the win and the quitter gets the loss, like a forfeit. whats more disturbing is when i checked out the madden forums thinking there would be outrage at this i found a bunch of * talking about how these were good features and that you shouldnt be able to play your friends in ranked games and you shouldnt get to win against a quitter. what the hell is wrong with you people? i dont want to waste my time for no reason. i want to play madden and i want it to count. also, where the hell are my stats and other peoples stats. how could they take something that needed just a few improvements and totally make it worse? please sign this petition to fix these absurd problems.

I am not worked up by this because I don't "waste my time" playing online... I buy this game for franchise and franchise only, with the occasional game with a cousin of mine online... last year I finished 13-4 online, so not having those 17 games count for me is not a huge deal to me... Being the best, or being on top of a leaderboard doesn't pay my bills... This game is a hobby, not a lifestyle... Madden is like NHL, if you are in the top 100, generally you are a glitcher of some sort, at least that held true for previous years. I suppose that will be changed...
Sit back and relax, breathe, maybe put down the controller and see what the "real world" is doing, you may like it, then at night, pop in Madden and just play the game because it is fun. Like I said, at the end of the day, it isn't going to pay your bills whether your are rated number 1 or number 100001...|||Signed.. Dumbing the game down for noobs isbad enough, I've learned to deal with that. But encouraging quitting is terrible, why would you penalize us for investing time in your product. I've been winning 7 games in a row going into half time and the person just quits right before the half is over. I'm at the point where I give them points so they don't quit on me.|||now were getting somewhere|||The reason for this is too many people either work with their friends or create two accounts and keep playing the same people to climb the leaderboards.
