I want the game to play as closely to how a real football game would be played despite the level of difficulty. Right off the bat ALL MADDEN mode is not realistic. It never has and it never will be. It is merely a mode to present the greatest difficulty challenge to the game and that is not what I am looking for.
I wan slider settings that make Great players play Great, Mediocre players play Mediocre, and Bad players play Badly.
I don't want to see some Rookie QB like Cam Newton play like he's Tom Brady b/c of some BS sliders.
Any suggestions as to what to set sliders at for realism and not challenge?

the run game is realistic, but too consistent against the cpu. haven't tried it against a person, but your blockers won't lock on to safeties, minimal superman LB picks, etc.|||
I see all the time on the forums people posting there slider choices to present the best challenge in Madden 12. Well I am not looking for the greatest challenge. I want the greatest "REALISM".

For some, the greatest "REALISM" is ALL MADDEN

You are gonna get a million suggestions but I will simply say this..."There are no perfect sliders out there." Very little attention to detail is done with regards to the tuning of this game and I've never seen a Madden release accurately reflect player traits. Having said that, I will give you the sliders I've been using for Madden 10. The basic premise I follow is that I do not adjust the computer ai. I simply go to Custom Skill and work from there with regards to user settings. I hope this gives you something to work with pertaining to Madden 12.
MADDEN CUSTOM SETTINGS 360 TOTAL POINTS
{PASSING 13}
ACCURACY=40 PASS BLOCKING=25 WR CATCHING=40
{RUSHING 13}
BREAK TACKLES=25 RUN BLOCKING=40 FUMBLES=40
{PASS DEFENSE 15}
REACTION TIME=25 INTERCEPTIONS=10 PASS RUSHING=40
{RUSHING DEFENSE 15}
REACTION TIME=15 TACKLING=50 BLOCK SHEDDING=10

Then don't look at Madden, look at this

I keed, I keed. I also would like realistic sliders, not "How to make All-Madden games more close"
