Steroid Defense?

The Defense in Madden is too hard, I threw for 25 yards 8 interceptions and no touchdowns, How is that possible???

I keep throwing the ball deep to my number 1 receiver but he not catch? Why he let Safety pick him off everytime?

Okay maybe I exaggerated a bit, but seriously this Defense is too hard.


I used to tear up the field on All Pro, in Madden 11.|||Same thing here.In offline franchise mode I was shut out for the first,second,and most of the third quarter using my Eagles against the Rams 13-0.I finally scored a TD in the third quarter and then took the lead with another TD way after in the fourth quarter.Then all of a sudden when I thought I won the game.The Rams intercepted the ball,got into good field position,and won the game with a FG with 3 seconds left.Most of the time I dominate.The defense really shouldn't be this hard.|||Skill you noobs. Get some.|||To tell you the truth I'm not seeing this problem, but I don't play against the cpu. Idk what to tell you besides it's probably just the way you play, sorry. If you can keep a good balance of run and pass and play to the strengths of your players you should be fine. Just don't expect to go 19-0 every season.|||Use your sliders or change the difficulty it doesnt make you any less of a man.|||If you want easy, I believe Rookie and Pro skill levels are still available...|||From my experience, short, mid, and deep passing all matters in this game. They throw the ball differently. You have to practice your timing. If you throw balls like you did in Madden 11, the timing will be off. The computer is smarter and will react better to passes. You just need to practice your throws.|||

Or you can act like less of a tool, Strelet, and actually be some help to someone who is asking for it. Not everybody is an instant pro when they hit the sticks.

xxxRHYPERIORxxx I'm a long time Madden gamer and I, too, have noticed that it has become a bit more difficult to complete passes. I might recommend hitting practice mode hard until you've mastered it. I like to just go in and select random plays for both sides and just practice until it starts to click. Nobody can really tell you how you should do it, you just have to be able to see it and feel it yourself.
|||I think the pass defense is too easy if you don't have a pass rush. Try playing NCAA. There's pass defense.

Run defense is another matter. Madden's run D is overpowered. Too many shed blocks for tackles in the backfield.
