I think the main reason for this is that we don't really have full control of the QB, mainly how he throws. (i.e ball placement). I do have a system that I think will work for those who want that total control. The feature is called PRECISION PASSING, and I hope one day will be added as an option. Again, I want this as an option, so for those who love the way the passing works you should and will be able to play that way. However, those who want a more control of the QB I think you will love the feature.....maybe not.
So here we go:
1) What is precision passing?
Precision passing is a feature that will enable a the QB to place the ball in ideal spots for his receivers.
2) How does it work?
When precision passing is enabled you will use the right analog stick for all your throwing motions. First, you will need to select your receiver. This will be done by pressing the corresponding button for the receiver icon.
Example using XBOX controls: You snap the ball and you want to throw it to the receiver that has the B icon. Press B to select the receiver.
Then, to throw the football you flick the right analog stick to "bullet pass" to the receiver, or you can hold the stick in the direction you want to place the ball in the best position for receiver to make a play.
Example A: The receiver you selected is running a slant route to moving him to the left side of the field. You see he is open and you flick the right analog and the QB will bullet pass to the receiver.
Example B: The receiver you selected is running a slant route to moving him to the left side of the field. You notice that the DB covering him knows the route and is running in front of him. You then move the analog stick right on the right analog stick and hold it. This will place the ball behind the receiver, which is away from where the defender can get it.
3) How does the passing help against " suber LBers and blind BDs "?
Example A: You want to to throw to a TE or receiver who is "open" in the middle of the field. Instead of just doing a bullet pass, you would hold up on the right analog stick to throw the ball over and out of reach of any defenders that are playing underneath your open man.
Example B: You want want to throw the ball to one of your receivers that has beat his man and is seemingly open. Usually when this happens (especially on deep balls) the DB will turn around a make a play on the ball. Again with precision passing you can throw the ball over the DB and enable your receiver to be the only one to make a play on the ball.
These are just the main areas I wanted to hit on, but precision passing opens the door to a lot more control.
You would be able to throw guys open, instead of waiting for them to be open. You would be able to throw to the inside or outside of a receiver. Just imagine the possibilities.
As I mentioned before this would just be an option so for those that want to play the same way as their use to they could.
What do you guys think?|||precision passing has "been in the game" since 04 but it's really never worked as well as it was supposed to. try to throw to the back shoulder and the cpu says "really? ok i'll throw it 20 yards OB for you" and try to throw it to the middle to a streaking receiver and...it just doesn't work. they just need to fix that, then add this

turn the player qb accuracy slider down.

and the word you're looking for is "consistent" and not "accurate." qb's make some CRAAAZY throws in the nfl, but they also make silly, miss the receiver by 5 yards throws. in madden, there aren't so many crazy awesome throws, but there are also almost no miss the receiver by 5 yards throws.|||

I wasn't saving every pass that is thrown this way would be completed. I said that you put the ball in a position to where your receiver is in the best position to be the only one able to make a play on the ball.
I actually think that this system would cause more under/overthrows. But it would also be extremely rewarding as well when do hit one of those special passes.
To go back to that slant route example, I don't want the receiver to be able to turn around and catch a ball that is thrown behind him every single time.|||How do you activate this mode?
Or do you mean press the Left Analog Stick
cause that is what i do is use the Left Analog stick Hold Right on it to throw ahead of the receiver to
the right|||How does using an OLD and BROKEN feature negate unrealistic LB's who can make INTs despite being 20 yards away from the play again?|||

Its not an option that is in the game. I am just saying it would be cool if it was.
By the way the method you speak of is not really leading a receiver its just throwing on the run...because you really don't have control on where the ball will be placed at all.|||yeah you do try again hold left when holding down B
and you will throw to the left of the reciever
you want him to jump up and catch a high one HOLD UP+B and the QB will throw high

LB super jumps have been nerfed by a ton, blind cornerbacks don't really happen unless user controlled.. and precision passing always works for me. I can throw to the side I want. Maybe try doing it when you aren't moving?
How can you do it without moving if you use the Left stick?|||

LoL, really? I'll let you figure that one out yourself.|||

You said use it when I am not moving. How can I do that if I use left stick to move?
EDIT:
I hate to sound like an idiot...but I really thought this feature was no longer in the game.
