Why are you here? No offense really...I'm just curious. I mean, when the new Winnie the Pooh game comes out for Wii, I don't rush over to their forum and critique the game...

Because people have played Madden before 2K and loved Madden and love NFL football. So since there's only Madden making NFL games, people want a NFL game done right...it's really quite simple.|||because some people always need something to complain about|||

Actually, no... I own every Madden up until 10... I am not here to complain, although some are.
There are other sections on this forum that I also post on and I just happen to visit the General Discussion forum as well to see whats going on with the up and coming game...
I dont come here to complain at all. I may critique from time to time based on reviews and videos and what other friends are telling me about the game but it is quite ignorant to say that I am here only for that reason.|||
Complaining is betetr then being a blind sheep like most madden dolts. its people not accepting mediocrity that keeps developers on their toes., with the EA license, cannot rely on the competition.. Again, this is a simple concept. Would you ratehr everyone be a brain dead man cow and accept everything the mighty EA offers? Sheep, BAH< BAH.|||Its ok to dislike madden, no crime in that whats so ever.. what gets me is that I am "stupid" because I enjoy the game. I get it that your unhappy with the product and again thats ok.. but why must people trash on others that are enjoying it? Thats my concern is haters are jumping on these forums and trying to heckle the people who are actually enjoying the game and to that I ask the same question...why?|||

Not at all, just because some people either have not bothered putting time into playing other football games or sports games in general just don;t comprehend how much is missing from Madden. It's disappointing, so some people come here and to other relevant forums to voice their opinion since they want a decent NFL game, some can do it in a mature way, some can't. Not everybody is going to as happy with major flaws, glitches, poor game-play as others. Not your concern if your happy with it really.|||all i want is the game to be as realistic as possible, i'd support ANY company who's true goal (not just in the marketing sense) is to represent football as close as possible. did i love 2k football? absolutely, and the last few years i've despised what EA has done with madden. however, this year the dev team has done an outstanding job with the game and is at least headed in the right direction. i would even say it is as good (but not better) than any football game to date as ALL past games have had their flaws.
there are still things 2k does better (head tracking, db technique, wr/db interactions, foot planting and acceleration, presentation, commentary) madden can learn from, and if it weren't for the people constantly critiquing (complaining apparently) madden and using the things 2k did right as an example of where madden needs the improve the game wouldn't be where it is today. blindly praising the game will not improve it, and there is still a lot madden can refer to from 2k to make it even better.|||Again...it's okay to come here with opinions if you don't play the game...but it's comments like "THE ALL MIGHTY EA" and "BRAIN DEAD SHEEPS" - that I ask the question...

I mean...if a company pisses ME off...I don't go back to them. So I certainly wouldn't come to their forum. Bashing their game on THEIR forum...is hilarious.
If you really want to "hurt EA"...go bash them other places. Go bash the game on GameStops forum, go bash it on Best Buy's review system...do something that would stop someone from playing the game, if you really want to be malicious.
The point I'm making is...the game is shipped...yes we will see small patches through out the year, and minor fixes here and there, but for the most part, the game is what the game is. If you don't like it, say your peace and move on. It really is pathetic to sit here and refresh a forum all day that has to do with a game you have no intention of playing or buying. Make your post...tell the world how much EA sucks, how much madden sucks, how stupid we all are for buying it...then please...move on. Let the people that bought the game talk to each other about it, let us constructivly work with each other on getting a message across to EA to better OUR game...
You've already committed to not buying it...so move on. Go to the next one. Go bash Deus Ex...I'm sure you can find something wrong.|||no... its really people just wanna complain.

i agree..in life no matter what it is.....it could be better. but people complain about the buckle on a chin strap. no matter what they do...people will complain and it will never be good enough! because whats good enough for one..will be crap to another|||

I already told you why "we're" how many times are you gonna ask? We've played & bought Madden 25+ years ago and it's for the love of NFL football. Why are YOU so offended by peoples opinions? No, if that was the case I'd be saying the same thing about NCAA, but that's a better game. Madden is just a bad game to a good portion of people here. It's not that complicated of a concept to understand. Bad games get bad feedback, simple as that. Just because you or some other people will just play & enjoy any game with a NFL logo on it doesn't mean we all will just enjoy it because of that. If EA didn't have the NFL license you'd see just how poor the product has been.
