No game manual?

So I just picked up Madden 12 at my local gamestop. Is this the first year that EA Sports not include the games manual with the game? All that was in the box was the game disc, a 3 page XBox Live pamphlet thing and an online pass. NO MANUAL AT ALL. Or did you guys get your copy the same way? I got the XBox version|||All ea games now come without a manual. The manual can be seen in side the game.|||It's in the game on the menu screen ncaa 12 didnt do it either.|||Thats stupid. But I guess it works out for EA so no one can copy down the online pass at game stop or something.|||ah ok thank you. I haven't bought a Madden in 2yrs, found it odd not seeing a game manual.

thanks for the quick responses!|||Alot of publishers are doing this. It is to show that they are thinking about the environment. Why waste paper when you can just provide a digital manual?|||

haha save the trees? More likely its to save $$$$ 5 Million manuals would cost a decent amount.|||

Yes it will save them money, but is it really something to complain about when it is also better for the environment?|||It actually use to come with a manual, but hey anything to cut down on all cost, and still charge the same price for the game, actually even more. Now they charge you for extra uniforms, stadiums, game perks… These things use to be included in the game already. But suckers keep paying for this, so why not right?|||A question for all of the people that hate Madden: If you hate Madden and EA, and all you talk about is how you think it is crap, then why do you come to this forum? Why do you take the time to read the posts and respond? Why do you even have an EA account? Either you are full of it and you just bad mouth to seem cool or you have no life and take pleasure in showing the World how much of a bitter person you are.

I understand having a dislike for certain features or wanting work to be done on certain aspects of the game, but for those of you who just keep posting about how crappy you think Madden and EA are, I feel sorry for you, that you have so much free lonely time on your hands that you cand spend so much of it focussing on a game that you hate, what a life it must be.|||

Seems you targeted that to me…. I been a loyal Madden fan since 94, so i have the right to critique the game industry i been supporting through out the years. I'm sure i put some of these guys kids through college, and put food for them on the table. I loved the game, i'm quickly falling out of love with it sadly. I'm not the only hardcore fan who feels this way, it's many of us. Make me fall in love again.|||Yes because people around here need SOMETHING to complain about. If EA put out a PERFECT game, they would complain the fonts are too large/small.

[/b]|||Manuals look good on paper, but do you really use them a lot? I use my manuals for the first day or 2 then I put them back in the case, as long as I can get them directly on the disc, that's fine with me. I usually use manuals to find control buttons I forget, the rest of the pages are usually ignored, that's true with most games in my opinion. Hey, if it's helping the environment, that's fine with me.
