A few gripes about madden 12....

[:1]I just have a few things about the game...if you have answers or comments, please be productive.

1. I believe it's an issue with NCAA 12 more than Madden 12 but why doesn't the import draft classes work? It either doesn't load the player all together OR the players that you would expect to be in the draft aren't there. How long do we have to wait until this gets fixed.

2. The free agent class! Hope Bromley, Camm Weber, David Hanson, Asif Yusef, etc etc...you've all seen this and I'm surprised I haven't seen people complain. This isn't a big issue with OFFLINE franchise because these players are not there, thank god, but in ONLINE franchise you can sign them...really!? Are these the dev team, or friends of the dev team? It actually doesn't matter but what does matter is how lame it is and what a spit in the face of the acutally NFL players, these people MAKE the game they are not real NFL players. "True to the game" my butt, this ruins the realism that EA is trying to sell to us.

3. Super LB's....enough said.

4. Tipped passes at the line....watch the replay and you will see it is not a random event but a scripted animation. The ball leave the QB's hand sideways....same as NCAA.

5. Improved coverage against the flats...the few times I've seen it...it wasn't the D that made the play, it was the RB letting the ball bounce off his face or the ball sailing over his head.

6. Choppy cutscenes

7. Commentary is horrible...this doesn't ruin the game but wow. Everytime I've gotten a pick 6, either for me or against, Gus and Chris start talking about how the CB got burned going for the pick and leaving the safety on an island....What?! It was a pick 6 not a huge gain for the offense. I've heard other people mention other bugs but this one stands out to me the most.

8. QB sacks....this one is in NCAA as well...why is it that your QB can easily throw the ball away on the run, but when there is a defender even remotely in the area he has to STOP, PLANT and get sacked. ONLY when there is a defender close by does he stop and plant.

9. Practice in franchise...pointless cause you don't unlock ratings or anything. I think it should be set up like, *gasp* 2k5 (I know I know, I don't play it but it had good ideas), watch film, gameplan for certain things...i.e. work on stopping the run too much and you pass D will suffer in the next game etc etc etc. Work your players too hard and their injury and stamina go down etc etc etc.

10. Preseason subs...can this be tweaked with an update? I hate that I have a undrafted CB I need to play to get a feel for their ratings...only to see Calvin Johnson back there in the 4th qtr and the CBno even on the Depth Chart.

Now I know there are more but I'll leave it at 10. I am not a designer so I don't know the exact work it takes to go into the game, but these issues shouldn't be issues.

A for effort and attempt at a fresh game, C in overall delivery.|||Don't Agree with 8 and 9.

There aren't that many sacks to begin with. Even when your on the run.

Practice is what Practice is suppose to be Practice plays that work with your players and incoming rookies or Free Agents etc. Also getting the timing down on some of you WR.

I agree with 10.

I have Fitz as a CB even though i have like 7 Corners to play its dumb. I change in depth chart he comes right back in 3mins later.|||The draft class issue has a workaround... but it involves restarting your NCAA Dynasty. Apparently, there are two prompts to export your draft class in NCAA. The first one is right after you end the regular season/before entering the offseason. If you choose No, you will get another prompt after you choose to advance past "Players Leaving" in the offseason. DO NOT export your class at the first prompt before the offseason. If you do, it will not export correctly and the draft class in Madden will be randomly generated. Instead, choose No, and once you advance past "Players Leaving", you will get another prompt asking if you want to export your draft class to Madden. Choose to export on the second prompt and it will import correctly into Madden. I have tried this method myself, and it worked for me.|||To many dropped passes, this is the NFL were they are professionals.

I have no problem when a player is crushed, and drops the balls, but when he is running a streak pattern, catches the ball, and the defender then touches him, and he drops the ball..."THAT IS NOT IN THE GAME"

|||The game stinks as usual, the gripes are so long i'm not going to bother... back to the show.|||No NFL films music made me very sad|||

I think you missed what I was getting at with practice...it could be so much more than just...."trying to find money plays", it could be progressive just like preseason.|||"Welcome back to PITTSburgh... yeaaahhhhhhh...."

LOL, funny the first time. Makes me want to poke out my ear drums with an icepick after the 30th time.

Worse, if they're the "home" team in the Superbowl, he still says it. Uhhh.. we're in Indianapolis.

No suction blocks, but God forbid you anticipate being blocked and hit your right stick... you'll get sucked into the block anyway. The lineman didn't get his feet under you, you warped in front of him.

Too many CPU controlled hit stick tackles, as in almost every tackle.

Why are they playing up Troy Polamalu as the best part of the D when he's out for 8 weeks and not even playing?

BUT, I will point out a few nice touches:

Music other than menu music playing in the stands (probably stadium appropriate). Hearing Kernkraft 4000 in Heinz Field gave me a smile from authenticity. Now if only they played Renegade too.

The presentation after winning the Superbowl, even commentary was nice. Not sure if it'll mean anything after doing it again, but the first time? Nice touch.
