edited my rookie de's jersey number now its just says number wtf?

wow so i guess u can't edit jersey numbers now? i edited my rookie de jabaal sheard jersey to his right number #90 now when he makes a play it just says and tackle was made by #90? wth ea|||Was the announcer saying his name before you changed his number?
